DJs
The Crown Courtyard Stage is our go-to venue for all our DJs. We want to cater for some musical styles that don’t always get represented on our live music stages. From laidback soul, reggae and ska to classic synth-pop and current dance music. Here are the superstar DJs you can look forward to seeing at this year’s FollyFest.
Dizzy Dean
Dean Webber, better known as Dizzy Dean is well known around this part of Oxfordshire for playing amazing sets in local clubs and bars. For FollyFest this year, you can look forward to Dean spinning our headline electronic dance slot from 9.30-11pm on Saturday night on the Crown Stables Stage.
James Turner
Hot off the back of last year’s FollyFest, James Turner returns to Our House! The now-famous Crown courtyard becomes the hottest dance floor in town and James will be tearing up the dance floor from 8pm to 9.30pm. Strap yourself in for an hour and half of disco-laced house cranked up to eleven! As always, just bring your dancing shoes!
Los Amigos Vinyl DJ Collective
Los Amigos are a Faringdon-based Vinyl DJ Collective and will be taking over the Crown Courtyard Stage on Saturday afternoon until 4pm an d all Sunday afternoon from midday until 6pm, offering a wide range of non-stop mellow and funky and dance grooves – all on beautiful vinyl. Mike and Al are excited about returning to the Crown Courtyard on the Friday night of FollyFest for the fourth year running. They forged their musical connection in Oxford in the early 90s and are more than happy to join forces again this year to play an upbeat vinyl set containing soul, funk, reggae and ska in individual sets before coming together for the last hour. They are also members of Los Amigos – the Faringdon Vinyl DJ collective.
The School Disco
The School Disco at FollyFest 2025 turned out to be way more fun that we expected. DJ Doctor Block abandons any sense of what is cool to spin the tunes we love when we’re a few beverages into the day. No serious dance tunes, no hard rock, just incredible sing-along tracks that everyone knows to get your feet moving. Remember the school discos of the 70s and 80s and 90s? Those days.
